Studies Work Group

A work group of the Transmission Expansion Planning Policy Committee's Technical Advisory Committee.

The Studies Work Group (SWG) is one of four work groups established under TEPPC’s Technical Advisory Subcommittee. The SWG is responsible for managing the completion of the study cases defined in TEPPC’s annual study program. It is also responsible for establishing the resource portfolio and transmission network assumptions used in each of the study cases. At the completion of a study case, the SWG performs the initial evaluation of study results, and provides feedback to the WECC staff regarding any additional study work that may be required.
