Introduction to System Operations

This week-long course is designed for entry-level personnel new to System Operations and uses the WECC System Operations Training Manual (SOTM) as its text.

Emphasis of this class is on the basics of Regulatory Entities, construction of the power system, operation of generators and the operation of the power system.

Upon successful completion, each student 30 NERC Continuing Education (CE) Hours, including six (6) NERC CE hours of NERC Standards and six (6) NERC CE hours of simulation.
