WECC-0084 MORC Retirement

WECC is in receipt of WECC-0084, MORC Retirement, requesting that criterion be retired upon completion of WECC-0070 and WECC-0065. A 30-day comment period soliciting input on whether the criterion should be retired will be open from December 22, 2010 until midnight (Mountain) on January 22, 2011. Comments can be provided by completing the survey on the WECC-0084 Team Site.
The criterion is administered by the Operating Committee. Responses to the comments submitted will not be provided; comments are provided for the sole purpose of informing the voting constituents of the Operating Committee. The Operating Committee will vote on whether to retire the criterion. Individuals are encouraged to monitor the Operating Committee agenda to determine when the vote will be taken.

This Survey asks a single question. Once WECC-0070 and WECC-0065 are complete, should the WECC MORC be retired?
The Request argues that once WECC-0070 and WECC-0065 are complete, there will no longer be a need for the MORC criterion.
Responses to these Comments are not required. These Responses are for the sole purpose of informing the Standing Committee prior to a vote to retire the criterion.
